Grand Traverse Lighthouse photo essay

After publishing my recent post about Leelanau Peninsula, I decided that it did not include nearly enough photos of Grand Traverse Lighthouse. The inside is just as charming as the outside of the building. Perfect reason for a photo essay, no?

The following photos all were taken and edited with my iPhone 5.

As a guy who works on the water and in view of 6 lighthouse it’s cool to see a photo essay on rarely seen insides.

I think so, too, Karl. The inside of a lighthouse is just as fascinating – to me, at least – as the outside. It’s sometimes crazy to think that a whole family lived there.
