While I was attending TBEX in Toronto, my husband, Mark, and our daughter, Lucia, were out exploring the city. This is the first installment of guest posts by Mark, aka The Working Dad, on their Toronto adventures.
When Francesca told me she was going to this travel bloggers’ conference in Toronto, right away I thought, “I’m going, too!” It’s one of my favorite cities. We’re all big hockey fans, too. I wanted to be the one to take our daughter to the Hockey Hall of Fame for her first visit. After Francesca left us at St. Lawrence Market, Lucia and I made the quick walk down Front Street to Le Temple de la Renommée du Hockey.
Lucia was more than happy to pose for some photos…
Yes, that was the second time Lucia got to touch the Stanley Cup – and she’s only 4! The first time was in 2010 after the Blackhawks won it all and the Cup was making its way around Chicago.
Lucia and I had a lot of fun at the Hockey Hall of Fame, looking at all the displays and trophies. It is well worth a visit for any hockey fan!
